For more than ten years, our work has taken us into a wide range of environments, from residential properties and new builds to offices, retail premises, education, healthcare and larger commercial sites. Every job is different, so we take the time to understand what is required and tailor our work to the property, the timescale, and the client.

About our Story

"10 years of building something from absolutely nothing!"
Hi, I’m Louise, founder and director of Pro-Spec Services and this is our story.
Ten years ago, I was made redundant. I didn’t really know what I was going to do next, so I thought, “I’ll do a few house-cleans to keep some money coming in until I find something else.”
I never did find that “something else” — because that little idea soon became ‘Bristol Clean Queens’.
I started completely from scratch. No investment, no financial backing, no big business-plan, and no team behind me. Just me, a single mum, determined to work hard and make something of it.
Having the high standards I do, it didn’t take long and I had built up a loyal client base. Some of those clients asked me to work with them also and gradually this moved the business into commercial cleaning. Some years ago, I stopped offering regular domestic cleaning altogether as the business had evolved into commercial, industrial, build and specialist one-off cleans.
It’s been a real labour of love. I’ve worked incredibly hard over the last 10 years, learnt everything as I’ve gone along and built the business one client, one recommendation and one job at a time.
Something I’m particularly proud of is that some of the clients who trusted me right back at the beginning are still with me today. I think that says more about the business I’ve built than any 5-star review or advertisement ever could.
In October 2025, I knew it was time for another change so ‘Bristol Clean Queens’ became ‘Pro-Spec Services’.
The rebrand wasn’t about forgetting where I started; I’ll always be proud of Bristol Clean Queens. It was about creating a name that reflected where the business is going.
My vision for Pro-Spec is bigger than cleaning. Over time, I want to bring different trades and specialist services together under one umbrella company, giving clients one trusted source they can rely on for multiple services, all delivered to the same high standard.
When I look back at where I started - doing a few house cleans because I’d lost my job and then look at the commercial and construction projects we’re working on today, I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built. No big investment. No shortcuts. Just 10 years of hard work, determination and many valuable lessons learned along the way.
Bristol Clean Queens was where we started.
Pro-Spec Services is where we will grow.
